Twitter is an incredibly valuable professional tool for me. I have met and connected with many amazing educators and learners of all ages who inspire me to continually explore how to to my work more effectively.

My students taught me about tumblr. I don't use it as well as they do yet, but I'm working on it. This blog is an aggregate of things that others share and also my own little peeks into the work I do in the classes I take, teach and observe.

This is a blog that I have had for a few years. I have used it to describe work that I have done in my classes that I taught, and have been in. Also, it includes my reading journal from my first year as a PhD student in the UH Manoa EDTEC program.

Diigo is a social bookmarking tool that has been really useful in my work with teachers and students. The ability to create a group and then share resources to the group is great. It is a little more targeted than twitter (although you end up using all of these things in an interconnected way, of course).

Mendeley is a web (and desktop) tool that I use to gather and organize all of my academic research. With this tool, you can make groups and share articles and papers (the PDFs) of academic scholarship. It is a great tool and can sync across multiple computers. It is also a bibliographic software tool, allowing you to export citations and generate reference lists.
